Black & Blue are a specialist steakhouse, offering a range of sirloin and T-bone steaks as well as burgers and salads. Catering for vegetarians is also provided.
4 stars for the service, valuing speediness of response, food delivery and flexibility (waitresses aren't restricted to stations).
2.5 stars for the food. Ordered the ribeye, rare, and no sauce to muddy it up. The menu claims that each steak had undergone a dry aging process. It certainly didn't taste like it. The slab was thin, full of edge fat and sinew - not characteristics of proper...more
The worst steak I've ever eaten in my life - it tasted of nothing and was completely full of gristle. I asked to have extra salad instead of chips (trying to be healthy...) and instead of a few extra pieces of lettuce and sprouts (as were already on the plate) they brought along a HUGE bowl of caesar salad! I couldn't even eat any of it -- it was entirely...more
