I think this place could be a little more friendly and the menu changed on occasion.. But I did like coming.more

The soup here is LEGIT. Seriously, eat some soup. Everything on the menu is pretty good vegetarian fare and and excellently priced. The ambiance is nice (when it's not packed).

If only the coffee was better. The baristas are guilty of being...economical when it comes to making it (and letting espresso shots sit out on the machine for minutes before being used). Oh well, the food makes up for...more

I love meat, so when I heard that this place only did vegetarian food I was a bit skeptical. But it looked so inviting that I had to step inside. I'm so glad I did! They do great coffee for really cheap, and their food is delicious. I've had their pizza and their soup. The staff are super nice and let you stay for as long as you like. There's no wifi, but I like to come here when I need to do...more

An unassuming hip-ish café from the outside. And from the inside.

But if there's a hint of sun, get out back.

They grow herbs and ducks (watch for a future Confit (joke, seriously) and other stuff.

The back garden is the back garden from several other places mashed into one, with tables popped into place willy nilly - sort of what you'd expect if this was your tutor's place and they'd gone...more

I'm sorry, I'm just not a fan.

Cafe Crema fits in with every hip goldsmiths students idea of an alternative to the norm, but I don't really see anything special or different about this place.

I wasn't impressed by my first visit here and didn't return again all through my student years, but after soo many positive reviews on Yelp and being back in the area I thought I'd check it out again....more
