For more than ten years the Durum Ocakbasi Restaurant has been serving up delicious Anatolian cuisine to the people of London’s Finchley. This cosy, welcoming restaurant is situated on the Ballards Lane, within reach of both West Finchley and Finchley Central stations, ideal for dining before heading in to town or meeting for an after work meal in a relaxing, unpretentious environment. Durum has long prided itself on the professional, accommodating service of its wait staff, always well turned out and serving with a smile, even at the very end of a busy Saturday night. This superb service is second only to the delicious food of the Durum Ocakbasi kitchen, where the chefs use traditional Eastern methods and typical ingredients in authentic Turkish dishes, ranging from hot and cold starters, which you might also enjoy mezze style, to moreish kebabs, cooked with health and natural flavour in mind. Durum’s wine list nit only includes a handful of favourite old and new world wines but both

Pretty decent, there's another restaurant in the area that I favour, but I went here on a recommendation - and I certainly wasn't disappointed!
The staff were friendly and courteous, the food was fresh and full of flavour, and I left with a smile on my face!more
Ispanak Boregi (Pastry Filled with Feta Cheese & Spinach)
Ali Nazik Kebap (Grilled aubergine, garlic, yoghurt, and lamb beyti)
Keskul (Almond based milk pudding)

Best quality turkish food in the area. No-nonsense, reasonable pricing. Drops a star for decor - place looks a bit tired but don't let that stop you from enjoying their food!more

Durum - you just get better and better! YUM!more
