Itsu

Overview

Itsu is a chain of Japanese restaurants that has emerged in recent times. The interior is very designer, with conveyor belts of sushi sliding past the glass shop front and little stools to perch on. The menu is a totally original mix of Japanese and European dishes. The plates are colour coded according to price. Itsu does not take reservations, but kindly asks their guests to entertain themselves in the bar area whilst waiting for a table.

Itsu is going Down Down Down. The soups are getting worse, the sushi is getting worse and OMG so expensive.

I walked in the other day balked at the price of a box of sushi and walked to Japan center. The extra 5 minutes walk each way means I get to eat like an extra 20 calories. And enjoy it.

Getting a sense of deja vu today that Yelp keeps deleting my reviews. This is the second one I...more

Really good pit stop for sushi and salad. A bit more pricey than my usual lunch and I could always do with a few extra pieces, but then again I'm greedy when it comes to sushi. Also love the drink pumps.

This branch has seating which can be a bit of a bun fight during peak lunch time. There is always a queue but the tills are fast.more

Came here for a quick dinner, and was impressed by the variety of fresh sushi available, and the soup bowls.

I found the sushi to be really tasty. I had been suggested the frozen yoghurt and the chocolate mousse, so I'll have to try the next time.

At this location the staff is friendly, and there is plenty of comfortable seating. Definitely an option for a quick meal, or if you want to take...more

Yes! I love this chain and this location in particular.

They have MASTERED the art of the business lunch. The shelves are always fully stocked, the meals are always very fresh, the lineups move quickly - you can't ask for more when you're running down the street to grab lunch in between meetings.
