My bestie and I decided to go to Fopp records. Welcome to being overwhelmed by two floors. Me and record stores take a long time. We skipped the DVD section since it's a region we cannot play at home.
The store is small, therefore, it was naturally crowded in an already busy hood.
Prices were hit and miss, however, overall respectable.more
I always make an effort to pop into Fopp if I'm in the area. Even though they are owned by HMV, I find the experience of browsing Fopp much more pleasant than HMV.
They have a great range of vinyl, I visited most recently specifically to pick up a limited reissue of Pulp's This Is Hardcore and I found it straight away, well displayed near the till.

Gone are the days when there were Virgin Megastores and similarly massive branches of HMV all across the West End, and only some of the more specialist record stores on Berwick Street have survived into the digital age.
