Overview

Maki Yaki restaurant in South Wimbledon is a sparkling, exciting sushi and maki roll restaurant, part of a small but growing group that is spreading across London and Surrey. The interior is traditional and comfortable and not terrifyingly high tech. The sushi, sashimi, tempura, teriyaki, however, are beautifully fresh and presented with an artist's eye, making each dish an appealing visual treat. In additional to the expected menu entries, you'll also find innovative rolls -- Lion King, Crazy Monkey, Cherry Blossom, Titanic -- and a list of westernised fusion dishes to excite your palate. The combination dinners are super value and a perfect introduction to Japanese cuisine if you're a neophyte. Maki Yaki restaurant rates high among diners who recognise authentic, fresh sushi and sashimi.
