went there last night about 10pm - first visit in quite a few years ! we just had icecream and that was great as always. don't remember the exact name but it had biscotti flavoured icecream. the espresso was terrible - the first was lukewarm and bitter. i sent it back. the second was warmer but bitter also. bleh. service was pretty non-existent also.more

Finally! I get to eat at Marine Ices. Granted I was totally stuffed from lunch but Me and Marine Ices have been like Romeo and Juliet- totally star-crossed. Well, yeh, now we can be star-crossed lovers, since when my reason for being in that side of town relocates, I'll hardly have a reason to be in and around areas served by that dratted No. 31 bus.

Some people are going to view this review as pretty unfair, because it entirely avoids comment on the main attraction: ice cream. I made the mistake of going to Marine Ices for a quick meal before catching a show over the road at the Roundhouse.

It was a warm and sunny evening after a hot and sunny day in the beer gardens of Edinboro Castle and the Lock Tavern. I was headed up to Chalk Farm Station with my friend and my puppy to head home, but first I had a mission: to FINALLY try Marine Ices.
