Opus is a modern bar that serves a variety of grilled dishes as well as a selection of sandwiches, snacks and beverages. They also serve a selection of homebaked cakes and pastries.
I wanted to like this place, but it was not to be. The hard, high stools and tables a fashionable, but not really conducive to a relaxing afternoon with a newspaper or crossword. Modern minimal interior. When this opened about 5 years ago it was a real blast of fresh good coffee onto Acre Lane. Not known for much other then builders merchants and linking Brixton to Clapham common.
French run, it keeps a slight air of strangeness about it. Not to say it isn't very well patronised by those about, and on the run elsewhere.

Lovely people and lovely coffee and lovely atmosphere and just a nice place to sit and read the papers - out side if you can, inside the rest of the time... And not be bothered.more
