Its not the kind of shop I would go crazy for, simply because I have very little patience when it comes assembling airplanes, cars, ships, castles, villages, etc. It is overwhelming to they eye as there are piles of stuff everywhere its like an Aladdin cave, and anything you want you'll probably find. After all they are the largest retailer of the sort.
One thing I did enjoy looking at was...more
Since my husband's been painting miniatures, I'm here more often than I'd like to be.
I don't have too much of a problem with it though, because it's fun just to look in to all the cases. It's almost museum like. It sells everything from model cars, airplanes, helicopters, ships, train sets, superhero characters, puzzles, Star Wars memorabilia, little soldiers, and other fun little gadgets. Now, I am not a big fan of any of these things, and yet I still find this store quite fascinating. It has models lined up from floor to...more
Model zone is every big boys dream. I say big as there are no children in sight in here, I guess the back to basic toys they stock just aren't high tech enough these days. Think trains, cars, planes, battleships and make your own model kits. It's a good find for any hobbyst though.
The staff are very sweet, all old men, who probably spend most of their time building HMS Victory's and adding...more
