This is the place to go for classic French food in a relaxed atmosphere when in London. I am a regular there and confess to a partiality born from many fun meals with many friends. Now it has the best entrecôte de bœuf au poivre in town, and with a decent bottle of wine, contentment and conviviality are yours.more

The Shepherd Market area of Mayfair has many fine, casual restaurants and this is definitely one of them. The food was perfect and service on point. Good selections and reasonable prices for wine by the glass. Better food than we had in Paris in neighborhood cafes. This was a cozy restaurant and the wait staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the ambiance very much *but* all of the dishes lacked seasoning.

I started with the french onion soup and it tasted fine but needed a pinch or three of salt. My friend had escargot, which is not something I'm super familiar with but I thought it tasted okay.

My friend and I came here for Valentine's Day during on trip to London. We were a little late for our reservation after a shoe incident and navigating our way here. Nonetheless, the hostess was kind and we were still quickly seated. We did not feel rushed during our meal. A server was very helpful in wine recommendations - there's an extensive list!
