I'm always a little confused when I go to the Barbican. What is this place? It seems to be a bunch of different venues put together.
I suppose it's a good hangout spot, if you want to catch up with friends. It's quiet, unlike a pub. It's spacious, unlike a coffee shop. It's also trendy-ish, unlike my flat.
When you go inside, you'll get the feeling that it's the lobby to a concert hall,...more
Bond or Bust !
I've always quite fancied being a Bond Girl. But since I'm over 25 and since I won't wear a bikini with the camouflage of a strategically positioned sarong, I think I may have just missed that boat !

Appealing to an older art/theatre/gallery going clientele, this means no screaming kids, no teenagers throwing popcorn down the aisles and no gaudy 10ft high promotional signs of upcoming Michael Bay films.
Screening a combination of popular new releases, foreign language and indie releases, there are...more
