Here I am, in the One Tun enjoying me some free wifi, watching England get hammered by the Aussies in the first test. It is a saturday, and fairly quiet. The food was basic but tasty and the staff are really friendly.
I have a table and a comfy chair by a massive TV and when I go to the bar to order my Guinness, the guy says he will bring it over to me when it settles.

The One Tun is a welcoming neighborhood pub, especially for the visiting futbol enthusiast. There are pubs on every street corner in London, but the One Tun is one of the few in central London that you can catch the footy match on one of many screens. Good beer, good company. Spank it!more
Came for a trip down memory lane after a few too many years... beer was still good... pub has been modernized. Good for a pint or 3 during the afternoon..watch the people and traffic go by.more
Having become almost a regular it's about time I wrote this place up. It's good.
Not a spectacular pub but really very good at being a pub.
Plenty of seats inside a not particularly large pub and friendly, chatty bar staff to get around to your drink service promptly. There are seats and tables out front but not many as there isn't much pavement to use.
A Pub Quiz operates here on Tuesday...more
