With a Groupon in hand, my wife and I headed to Efes with a 7 o'clock reservation. Knowing we were coming, the starter of mixed meze was quickly served. According to my wife, the falafel is amazing. I wouldn't know, there was only one on our plate (and my wife swears others received two). The main of mixed grill was really good value for money and the dessert was also delicious. It's kinda unfortunate Turkish food somehow got all wrapped up in the low-quality fast food hellholes on every street corner, and even worse that the kebabs are eclipsed by blaringly ugly red laughing chickens touting hamburgers and other fried crap.

Overpriced for what you get.
Don't be fooled, the kebabs are not fresh, they are frozen. If you want a proper kebab head north.
I had the vegetable moussaka and it was dull.

This is one of the most famous Turkish restaurants in the whole of London, it is only around the corner from the Turkish Embassy, so you will often find a Turkish sophisticate dining here. It is very pricy so I am not a regular but it is definitely worth a visit, as long as you like the Mediterranean flavour.
