The pub is very well placed for drinks before dinner at nearby star restaurants Pizza East, Chicken Shop and Dirty Burger and has a huge garden out front which has loads of seating. Gin and tonic was well executed, I can't comment on much else because I didn't try the food, but I would definitely recommend if you're dining nearby.more
This place is finally starting to find itself an identity. Long overshadowed by it's larger gastropub neighbours (including the Junction Tavern) and now Soho House's trio of restaurants across the street (Chicken Shop, Pizza East and Dirty Burger), we were fairly certain that The Vine would roll over and play dead. In the past service was spotty and the menu didn't change for years.
Oooh I like it!
When it is cold, mulled cider makes the world better...and the Vine serves lovely mulled cider. They had their own 'vine' bitter on tap too, if you want to try a local brew.

Ugh. Came in here with a group of co-workers for after work drinks...read the menu, INSTANTLY spotted the Porn Star cocktail(which I've been craving ever since the Yelp Christmas event 2009!) so my boss and I (yes...I have an awesome job with an awesome boss that I may or may not drink with regularly...) decided to go in halvsies and get a pitcher due to the long and ridiculous drama filled...more
The Vine is a great pub just up from Kentish Town tube station. Drinks are not cheap considering the location, but the clientele appear to be mostly artsy types who work at Highgate Studios down the road.
