Monmouth Coffee Company Covent Garden

Monmouth Coffee beans Pinterest

We started roasting and retailing coffee here in 1978 and built a sampling room for our customers to try our coffees before buying beans. We moved roasting out of this shop in 2007 and our coffee is now delivered every day from our roasting site in Bermondsey.

We sell beans (whole and ground), single cone filter coffee and espresso based drinks. Our organic Jersey whole milk is from Jeff Bowles in Somerset and our organic whole cane sugar from Assukkar, Costa Rica.

one of the better coffee shops in London with an eclectic selection of roasts. 4 star due to the lack of milk selection, guess we're spoiled in SF with soy, almond soy, coconut soy, nonfat, 2%, regular etc

must get the chocolate croissant or almond croissant as it pairs well with your cafe au lait or cappuccino

also, amex is not accepted and limited seating spacemore

It's simply lovely, delicious, friendly and they let my wonderful doggy Charlie come in with me, what more could a coffee puppy lover ask for?more

I discovered this place back in 2010 during my first visit to London and fell in love with the coffee and baked goods here. Absolutely amazing coffee and please note there will be a wait but it is worth it. Strong recommend getting cafe au lait since it is stronger coffee and try their croissants! You can purchase coffee beans as well, there are other locations as well but I recommend this one.more

It's Monmouth. You know it's good. If you don't know it's good, then the huge line outside will probably indicate you in the right direction!

It's not my favorite coffee in London, but they've got a fine iced latte. It's not worth a 20 minute wait in line, especially with Timberyard down the street, but it's always a better idea than visiting the stupid busy location at the Borough Market.more

The smell of coffee really draws you in and tonight a caffeine shot would really do me good..

The venue is small and if you really want one then have it to go as waiting for a table may take a while...

Also if you love it then have some grinded to take home to enjoy later on.more
