I offer this British chain a 2.5 stars on a few accounts:
The "meh. I've experienced better" is true on all levels if I were to compare this establishment to restaurants back in the states in San Francisco or NYC HOWEVER, in London, Garfunkels was sadly enough my saving grace.

During my trip to London this place was a staple for lunch and dinner for both myself and my husband. It has all of the usual "continental" fare that can keep anyone satisfied--fries, burgers, fajitas, omelettes, shakes, coffees etc. plus a rather shoddy and boring salad bar for picky eaters.
SInce I'm a picky eater, I mostly went for the jacket potatoes, which were superb.
