Overview

The latest opening from chef, Johnnie Mountain, The English Pig is a modern English brasserie which showcases Johnnie’s passion for cooking packed with flavour. Opposite the Houses of Parliament, The English Pig is set out across two different areas - The Floor and adjacent to the open kitchen is The Bar.

The menu is British cooking at its best cured British meats w homemade focaccia, small plates of Roast king prawns w chilli, aioli & grilled lemon or pan fried chicken livers on toast. Amongst mains are veal T-bone steak or the ultimate fish & chips. Puds include chocolate brownie & chocolate sorbet or a lemon posset, cranberries & shortbread.

The Floor is a light, informal space where comfortable wooden chairs border tables dressed in white linen. The Bar is a more cosy space, here leather sofas, high and low bar stools help to create an intimate environment. A constant backdrop at The English Pig is the open kitchen, a lively reminder of why a visit here is well worth it.
