Overview

With a combination of delicious food, great wines and a real ambience, Café Rouge has embodied the style and je ne sais quoi of French dining since it opened way back in 1989.
Now with over 90 sites across the country it's just the place to mull over the morning papers with a cafe au lait and a croissant, pop in for a spot of lunch, share a post-work drink or relax over an evening meal.
The menu covers a range of French classics from croques and baguettes, ideal for a quick and easy snack, to more substantial fare such as steak frites and boeuf bourguignon. Likewise, the wines are predominately French; many made by lesser known producers, and provide the perfect accompaniment to the food on offer.
No hassle, no rush, no skinny- decaff-double-shot-to-go, just a vibrant atmosphere that moves with your moods throughout the day.

Love the ambience, the resto's environs and the food. I had a sausage and mash dish, awesome flavor. Aces in my book.more

Cozy, intimate location for a fairly large chain of French-themed restaurants in the UK. Open fairly late every night for a suburban high street. Service was friendly and unrushed even though we popped in here just for coffee and dessert and lingered a fairly long time.more

A warm and cozy cafe, this place consistently delivers homestyle french cooking.

Their set menu is good value for the money and the place itself is clean and staff are friendly.

one of their most popular dishes is Moules et frites.

Parking can be a pain around here.more

Prob my fave restaurant in Ealing. Ok it's not perfect - service can be a little slow but the menu always has a handful of things I like and also have always found staff polite.I am probably also biased as there are always deals to be had whether you sign up online, cash in tesco points or check out voucher sites. I had a meal for 2 in there at the weekend including starters and a bottle of...more

I didn't realise this was a chain when I first went. If I had known I would have chosen one of Ealing's many other cafes, but Cafe Rouge wasn't too bad at all.

Two course lunch for under a tenner. It wasn't amazing, but nor was it terrible and the service was quite good. My burger was a little overdone but this may have been because they were holding it back to serve when my partner had...more
