Cafe Pacifico

About

London's original Mexican cantina, Cafe Pacifico in Covent Garden has been a quality venue for many parties and special events for over 33 years, serving contemporary and classic Mexican dishes alongside superb margaritas, tequila and cocktails.

Creating a cosy ambience throughout, the long wooden bar and Mexican decor are the most eye-catching features of Cafe Pacifico, situated within a large open warehouse in one of London's most lively areas, and conveniently close to Covent Garden Tube Station.

Freshly made, home-style Mexican food is served to a vibrant crowd. As well as the much loved tacos and fajitas, there is also a choice of seasonal modern Mexican specialities, including fillet of beef with Caribbean jerk sauce or wild mushroom and roasted pepper enchiladas. The Lunch menu is a great deal for a quick and inexpensive offering of tacos, enchiladas and mini fajitas.

On Friday and Saturday evenings, Cafe Pacifico accepts bookings up until 19:30 after which they operate on a first come, first served basis. Diners are welcome to wait in the holding bar, should a table not be immediately available.

That was a mistake to think that perhaps this place will be authentic cause of the name and basing on ok reviews on Yelp. My...more

I ordered the roasted veg and beans tacos- two small sweet potatoes chock full of black beans, with plenty of corn tortillas and...more

Popped in to try the lunchtime menu as colleagues have been many times and love this place. A main and a margarita for £10, great! Ordered the mini chicken fajitas (you get a lot for 'mini') and was served beef. When I mentioned this to the waitress she contradicted me and said I'd ordered beef before stomping away to speak to the manager. 2 minutes later I was brought the chicken which was...more
