Cafe Pacifico

About

London's original Mexican cantina, Cafe Pacifico in Covent Garden has been a quality venue for many parties and special events for over 33 years, serving contemporary and classic Mexican dishes alongside superb margaritas, tequila and cocktails.

Creating a cosy ambience throughout, the long wooden bar and Mexican decor are the most eye-catching features of Cafe Pacifico, situated within a large open warehouse in one of London's most lively areas, and conveniently close to Covent Garden Tube Station.

Freshly made, home-style Mexican food is served to a vibrant crowd. As well as the much loved tacos and fajitas, there is also a choice of seasonal modern Mexican specialities, including fillet of beef with Caribbean jerk sauce or wild mushroom and roasted pepper enchiladas. The Lunch menu is a great deal for a quick and inexpensive offering of tacos, enchiladas and mini fajitas.

On Friday and Saturday evenings, Cafe Pacifico accepts bookings up until 19:30 after which they operate on a first come, first served basis. Diners are welcome to wait in the holding bar, should a table not be immediately available.

Super overpriced. If you want to eat a lot of food then I guess it will be ok but not impressed at all. I would think that there is a lot of food that goes to waste every night.more

Loved this restaurant! I went in to celebrate my 19th with my mates!. I first started with adventure bar which was shit! Their cocktails were horrible then my mate suggested that we should go to cafe Pacifico. The cocktails were AMAZING!!! Great staff especially the bartenders and the food as well was just great! . It was my second time going and looks like I'll be going there every time I'm...more

Ordered the fajitas, lots of veggies, very little meat, veggies not sliced the same size so you'll receive uncooked veggies alongside overcooked veggies. After we flagged a server to take our dessert order, I also ordered a coffee with...more

My friend and I come here regularly for margaritas and food. It was the first Mexican restaurant I went to in London when I arrived many years ago, so it will always hold a place in my heart. Servings are huge and good enough, though not fabulous. Can't compare to the restaurants in the States but it's good enough to scratch the Mexican need itch.more

I'd visited Cafe Pacifico a couple of years ago when moving to London was but a dream and remembered them doing the most amazing margaritas. I'm trying to be a little more adventurous when ordering out so rather than sticking with one of their tried and tested dishes I opted for the curado tequila creole sea scallops with crab and asparagus as I absolutely adore seafood but don't eat it...more
