Food was good however, this is definitely a 3 pound sign place. If you're American it's probably the most expensive tapas place you'll go to in London due to the tiny sizes. for average people expect 4 to 6 large pix and a couple small.

Overall, the food was tasty but a severe lack of hot dishes. A great pre- or post-theater snack. Almost everything is on a crustini which is very not...more

Great concept here, we had a number of items and two bottles of a well priced and tasty tempranillo. I thought everything was well prepared and the service was very good, but with one exception, one dish that I thought should have been severed hot, The main component was oxtail on crusty bread, this dish was good, but in my opinion it should have been hot. Overall very solid.

Pix Pintxos was superb.

Basque meets slight S. American flavors. Awesome layout of food. Stocked bar, tantalizing flavors, they let you enjoy yourself!

Downside: more tables outside, more wait staff attention, no cloth tables..

Ham, peppers, cilantro, lemon, melon, asparagus, cheese offered as amuse bouches. Perfect!

Definitely be back.

Skip the stuffy "prix fixe" offered elsewhere around here. Covent Garden houses a lot of wolves in sheep's clothing. It seems tempting, but often disappointing. Yes, you'll be in and out in time for the show -- but at what expense? Lost quality, I tell you. Rawr.

So, Pix. A petite little alcove on Neal Street,...more

Didn't do the tapas but came for the speakeasy bar downstairs - called Rooms by the hour. Definitely a great idea, you're in cosy little private booths with a curtain to close them off, a dimmer switch to control your lighting and a little TV that shows 70s porn when you press a button. All sounds great so far, and perfect for a date! I think the cocktails themselves let it down a bit though....more
