The £20 cover charge to get in on a Friday night in Shoreditch should have set off some warning bells in my head. If that had not been enough to set them ringing the rude and bullish staff should have done the trick... The odd "no handbag" policy should have made me turn around and saved myself a bad night out.

Such an overpriced place (£20 entry which is like Mayfair). Rude and unprofessional bouncers. Long queue for the cloakroom. Outside area is nice, but I once got my hair pulled by a totally drunk girl there (she mistook me for someone else). Minimum card spend is £20 and the drinks are average. Not going to Cargo again anytime soon.more
Fun place in Shoreditch - affordable if you make it in before 10 on a Friday (quite easily done)
Found it a little strange that one of the rooms bans even small shoulder bags - I don't know anyone who wants to check in their valuables- and it seemed a shame that this prevented some of our party from staying together.
