I have used this park since I was born in 1957, I have memories of wading in the ponds that was there then, moved away in my teens, brought my grandson today to see where I use to live and play as a child, very nostalgic visit, toilets same as in 60s and 70s, disgusting in this day and age, but rest of park still lovely, more
I love this park. Great for running along the water and it has multiple activity areas including skateboarding, lawn bowling, basketball and a field.
Not to mention the beautiful scenic areas of blooming trees, weeping willows, fountains, and statues. It's like you stepped back into a palace courtyard.
Grab a coffee at the cafe near by and take a stroll!more
Such a beautiful park! Abutting Fulham Palace, there's something for everyone at Bishop's Park: playgrounds, a skate space, sports pitches, gardens - all sorts! It has a lovely old feel to it while still having modern amenities. Just gorgeous to watch across the river to all the rowing clubs at Putney, too!more
Nice little park by the river, good place to let the dog off the lead for a run on the sports field.
Can get crowded in Summer and when there are events on such as the Boat Race or Football at Craven Cottage next door.
Has recently undergone major redevelopment of the playground areas, which alas are off limits to the dog..more
