We came here for a Sunday roast dinner. It's a cool traditional pub with an awesome interior - the foxes ass particulary stays in mind.

I ordered the veggie roast and wasn't blown away but quite satisfied. I loved the Yorkshire pudding and found the homemade mint sauce and horseradish remarkable.more

If it's a nice day definitely walk around; we came through the park to get to this pub....more

I've just shared a very, very good Beef Wellington here. It was very high quality beef fillet, cooked to perfection, in a crisp pastry. It was served with green beans tossed in little bacon bits (mmmmm bacon), kale, well cooked chips and a Yorkshire pudding. This was the best pub meal I've had in a while, and at £19/head, great value for such good quality steak.

The pub itself is a nice...more
