This is a perfect example of a place that doesn't have to rely on repeat business and it shows! Waited 40 minutes for a drink and when the beer arrived it was obviously not the right one, was warm and flat. Finally got a waitress to return it and found out afterwards they were out of the beer I ordered so just gave me one poured earlier (much earlier!). The burger was ok but was overcooked and...more
I'm not a big fan of heathrow because of how busy it is but the Tin Goose makes up for it. I have been there a few times and food is always good (no more) and proper British cask ale is always available.
The full English breakfast is always great and if you combine that with a couple of breakfast pints, you can't go wrong.more
The food, like other reviewers have complained, was overcooked. I ordered the battered cod, and when it arrived it certainly looke battered (and overcooked.) I complained to the waitress and she asked me to order something else so I tried the cod and salmon Fishcake with spinach. When that came it was also overcooked and dried out but not as badly as the cod. I won't be going there againmore
I was so devastated that my colleague and I did not discover this bar earlier on our most recent trip through Heathrow - instead we wasted a large amount of time trying to get served at Bridge Bar, which was slightly closer to our gate. A surprisingly good option in heathrow terminal 1. Interior decor is really nice. My burger was actually much better than any burger I've had in the uk, though it fell apart after the first bite. Some servers seemed like they rather not be there, but my girl was friendly. Would return.more
