Firstly, it's a tourist trap. I know, I know, what kind of self respecting Yelper would go to one? The answer is, a hungry one, one too lazy to cook, and wanting something close and convenient.

It describes itself as a steak and grill house. The decor is nostalgia/ranchy American, kind of like Montana's, Applebee's or Chilli's. But then you get the menu, and it's like... what just...more

Touristy and not at all like anything you'd find in the US, pass on Billy's unless everything else is closed and you just have to burn some cash asap. While the food ranged in our party of six from passable to terrible, the service was some of the worst we've encountered in months. Easy requests were ignored and/or misunderstood, and apologies never came. Also note that they don't take cards.more

I'd agree with other reviewers that this place is pretty average at best. A buddy of mine said it was one of the better fish and chips joints in the area, so I went for it. It at least filled my fish and chips quota while I was in London (which I was convinced I would never have!) I docked it an extra star because the menu indicates a 'ladies portion', which is pretty sexist, but then I added...more
