As far as the menu is concerned, there seemed to be a decent balance of well-known "classics" and obscure dishes. But you should definitely go for the later if you're looking for something traditional as the classics seem to be "adapted" quite a bit (and as a result, aren't quite spicy enough).

Refreshingly small menu that doesn't overwhelm you.
One of the best takeaway packaging in London! They even give you chutney for your complimentary papadum.
And I definitely recommend getting takeaway, unless you don't mind the very strong (albeit delicious) smell and heat coming at you from the kitchens.more
I went there for dinner, chose it based on the Yelp rating score and I wasn't disappointed. Very friendly staff and tasty dishes. This is a real Indian kitchen and they know how to prepare the food properly. TV was showing Indian pop music videos the whole evening. I got exactly what I was hoping for. Tasty Food! Bad Service! Food is authentic and tasty. It was spicy but not too spicy. And everything was presented so nicely! Overall quantity was less than usual but was made up in the taste. Order the chicken makhani and lamb biryani (the meat was very tender and flavorful).

I have to say I disagree with the previous reviews. I would definitely not qualify this as a five star Indian restaurant!
Don't get me wrong, it's not bad, but not really separated from any of the other cheaper Indian restaurants in London.
Food was decent, had daal which tasted like it should, a curry. I will go again, but because it's close!more
