The Bengal Curry House is right opposite St James Street Station, Walthamstow. It is an old school Indian restaurant. The decor inside is 1980s High Street curry house (deep red curtains, dark lighting, wodden tables).

This is indeed a bit of a treasure - not much to look at on the outside and dated 80s indian restaurant decor on the inside, but its not offensive if anything its quite comforting! It does what it says on the tin - fresh, tasty, good quality indian food served in a relaxed atmosphere.
