Welcome to identity crisis cafe. I ordered a scone with a pot of tea at this institution boasting a "strong music policy", "fine Italian dining" and a menu full of French baked goods, bad Italian spelling and British afternoon tea items.

Boarf. Pas exceptionnel. Les gâteaux sont plutôt bons, légers (vu la taille), mais pas fous.

Les prix sont assez élevés, l'endroit est bruyant, et le personnel peu aimable.

£3.80 for one strawberry tart. I didn't realize this was a chain. I just wanted a nice insulin spiking sugar fest before I called it a night. I was pretty disappointed. Since everything outside of the USA closes early on Sundays finding a dessert place after 6 is damn near impossible. Another egg-citing place to eat brunch!

At 11am, my friends and I were searching for an open pub that served curry. All of those places were closed, so we opted for this place. My friends ordered the omelet, Eggs Benedict, and Eggs Florentine.

You come here if the Orangery is closed.

The ambiance is really decadent and with plenty of flourishes. The scones are more like biscuits ( in a texas usa sorta way) and the clotted cream is mediocre at best.

But they do have Gelato and in summer this place is packed... not sure what that says, but its good to rest your heels and grab a tea and relax.more
