Denise's is a friendly French restaurant absolutely worth visiting if you're in London. We went for an early dinner before a show and got great service. French food...... it was OK, they claimed to serve foe grass, not really they were passing out the "pate" as foe grass. I am a big fan since it is illegal in California so I have ordered an appetizer and a main course with foe grass, to see pate on my plate. The prices are very high compared to other French restaurants in the area. The wine was good, from south France.more
I went home via a different route this evening, and as a Denise myself I just had to try this restaurant as my dinner spot this evening. I'm glad I did.
I had the Spaghetti alla Carbonara which was topped with fresh cracked pepper and fresh parmesan by my lovely (and friendly) waitress. I also had a coca-cola and my total was only £10.05. I will definitely be back.
