A good meal here tonight with friends which was tasty. The veal escalope was tasty but a little greasy. Very busy pre-theatre and quite warm and a little cramped inside but pleasant staff, if a little slow at times. Not badly priced; great with a 50% discount card but just ok without. £77 for chateaubriand for two is pretty steep though! A decent place to try if you're in central London and...more

The location is fantastic, right in the festive atmosphere of Covent Garden. The food was surprisingly tasty and well thought out, nicely balanced and nicely proportioned... Especially since I had such low expectations for such a touristy spot.more

With rich dark timber panels wth brass accessories and lighting, this place takes me back to a time long gone, A lovely tribute to the 1930s, Tuttons is a nice spot to grab a simply yet tasty breakfast. Staff were helpful, food and coffee served quickly. In a lovely location.

Again, if there were 1/2 stars I would place it in between a 3 and a 4. A pleasant experience.more

Well it's nicely appointed. The bar menu here offers no surprises except perhaps in terms of portion sizes which seem to have been set by Weight Watchers. The wine list is good enough, but again nothing worth writing home about.

At the end of the day, there's nothing offensive about the place, it's just not somewhere I'd choose to go to unless I was outside it.more

I normally try to avoid Covent Garden (too many tourists can mean pretty average food) but my friend suggested eating here, and I noticed we could get 50% off using the tastecard, so I figured it was worth a try.

I think some of the previous reviews for this place are a bit harsh. The waiters were all friendly and helpful (and gave good advice for the deserts.)

The food didn't blow me...more
