Overview
In the seven years since its opening, La Cave has established itself as a truly authentic slice of France in London. Situated in the leafy shades of Southwark Cathedral and neighbouring Borough market it attracts a loyal following of French ex-pats, city executives and "bon viveurs" in general.<br /><br /><br />Half of the space consists of a wine bar with an extensive choice of world wines available by the glass that can be enjoyed with plates of rustic meats and cheeses.<br /><br />The other half is the restaurant where guests can dine from a gastronomic menu composed by executive chef Jamal Bendghoughi.<br /><br />Having years of experience in Michelin starred establishments, he serves heartfelt dishes driven by curiosity to discover and the right marriage of ingredients.<br /><br /><br />La Cave, as the name suggests, specializes in wines with a list boasting of both iconic wines from the old world and future classics of the new world.
