An inviting, understated burgundy exterior on bustling Northcote Road opens into a modern, attractive space (it needs to be; this is Clapham Junction) of deep red walls, glossy wood, latticed-backed chairs and bright lighting. A gently diverse menu ranges from a ‘simply Indian’ set of familiar dishes, to grills and ‘adventurous show-bites’ such as spicy king prawn peri peri, and soft fresh crabmeat cooked in a South Indian medium spicy sauce.
