Theo Randall's passion for simple, rustic Italian fare took him from Chez Panisse in California to Head Chef and Partner at The River Café. In 2006, Theo brought this experience to the prestigious address of No 1, Park Lane when he opened Theo Randall at the InterContinental. His unwavering dedication has earned him the respect of his peers, many industry accolades and awards, and a loyal following of diners.<br/><br/>The restaurant continues to exemplify Theo's signature style of showcasing the best of Italian cuisine in a buzzing restaurant setting. The daily changing menu is inspired by his regular trips to Italy and dictated by the best seasonal ingredients available from the market every day. Great fresh modern Italian, loved the salumi platter, mozzarella, pepper risotto, veal capaletti and lemon tart. Beautiful restaurant/bar and friendly staff. Expensive though, about $100 per person.more

As good as it gets for rustic Italian food but with modern unpretentious service.

Everything from the minute you walk in till you leave is service at its best.

Been half dozen times and will continue....if only I lived nearer.more

Based just inside The Intercontinental London is Theo Randalls restaurant. The interior is stunning and not too posh. Ye Gods, this was a great meal. We came in in a deal they had, basically a three course meal with a free glass of prosecco. Sometimes you get treated a bit shabby when you have a voucher but that wasn't the case here. The service was impeccable, including a very friendly and knowledgable sommelier.
