I recall a much better experience last time I was here. Did the chef or management change? Honestly, I've had better meals at Cote or even Cafe Rouge. We arrived at 2:30pm, completely unaware they closed at this time however were very warmly received and the held the kitchen open for us.
The service was impeccable and super friendly.
My starter was the mussels. The flavours were insane. Air cured ham, some crazy delicious sauce and even more delicious foam. The portions are somewhat reserved but the taste is big.

Dinner for two on a weeknight last month - Great ambience, outstanding food and excellent service. We had three courses, each dish was beautifully presented and spot on in terms of flavours. Also great wine on the menu. Front of house staff Evan was attentive and friendly. Would definitely come back.more
Charlotte's place in Ealing is really very very nice! We enjoyed the great wines from the extensive wine menu and the food offered was perfect.
The restaurant is in what looks like a private home, you have to ring the bell to get in and it feels like entering the nice atmosphere of somebodies home. Our table was in the basement which was fine but I would like to sit at the ground floor next...more
