I'm upset this shop has received poor reviews. The selection of vintage clothes here might not be as well curated as One of A Kind down the street. But you're also not paying those crazy prices.

I've bought a couple of nice pieces here, including an awesome mid-80s sleeveless denim jacket that I wear as often as I can. It's a collector's item, and I only paid £30 for it. And I wasn't hunting...more

Having a partner with a masters in women swear, going shopping is a different day out as we tend to go to the weirdest shops in London, hence, weird people and staff wearing very weird things. The point I am trying to get at is that 295 in Portobello is weird place full of weird stuff.

This is one of those find anything, everything dark vintage shops - it's packed full of men's and women's clothes (lots of dresses and coats), wigs, hats, evening gowns, shoes/boots, kilts, costumes, jewellery etc, all at pretty cheap prices. I'm sure there are some interesting pieces to be had here... but personally, I tend to appreciate a well-edited vintage selection (even if you have to...more
