This has got to be my favourite Indian restaurant in London! For the price (all you can eat for £4.50), taste, friendliness of the owner, and overall kitsch, it's always worth it. Oh--and you can BYOB for no extra charge!
My recommendation: Try the Indian ice cream--it's light and refreshing, perfect after a spicy meal, and you get all three flavours for just £2.50!more

Still a steal though, if you really think about it. The propaganda on the walls is hilarious. Definitely what I call highly entertaining dinner conversation. Ive been meaning to visit here for like 15 years. Charming establishment with a wealth of information plastered over the walls in what makes fo a unique meal. the food was very good and everything is regularly topped up. They also have BYOB.more
I've been coming here on and off for 20 years. That makes feel really old but also really consistent. The food is good as ever and in the 20 years I've been coming the price has only increased by ONE POUND! I would go so far as to say that it's cheaper to eat here than it is to eat at home.
