Overview

Opened in 1729. Architect, Nicholas Hawksmoor (first pupil, then partner of Sir Christopher Wren). The church has recently been beautifully restored and is open to the public both as a venue and a place of prayer/historical interest.

Christ Church is open to visitors on Tuesdays (11:00 -16:00) and Sundays (13:00 - 16:00) Tours for groups and schools can be arranged on any day of the week subject to availability.
