Beer...very good beer actually. One of the more reasonably priced Craft Beer places with a great selection. Not much room inside and getting served is a bit of a challenge when it's busy, but a great place nonetheless.more
A tiny gate lodge converted into a bar with 22 craft beers on tap - every style from German Dunkel to English Red Ale. Perfectly located in the gardens directly outside Euston station for a quick pint afore ye go. I heard that Masterchef winner Tim is/was the landlord, but this tiny venue is no gastropub. Best experienced in the summer when you can spill out onto the street for extra space.more
Working a detail here during the Olympics....Got to go out one night and wanted something local, low key and had the local population. Well during the Olympics that's now hard to find. But this is a great place. Been working a lot of hours so it didn't take much for us to get tired...But we all got our shots in for different beers! cool little joint by the train station. great place to hang out when it's not raining. (i was going to write, "when the sun is out," but come on, that's a steep standard for this summer.) plenty of craft brews and pretty good pizzas.
and they love dogs, especially pugs. free pint for pug. our jelli bean isn't a pug but got to enjoy a little from our pints :)more
Yes the beer range here is relatively good, but in practically every other aspect, the Tap is mediocre.
Let's start with the good stuff - the beer. 28 beers on tap, with the bar flanked by a couple of large fridges on either side with bottled beer from across the world. Obviously this range puts it above the vast majority of pubs in London, but I don't think it compares to other specialist...more
