I came here with an old uni buddy to catch up. His gangly male presence was definitely out of place in the upstairs here - which was girly and cute in a traditional teashop kinda way. I ended up just ordering the beetroot ravioli starter which I hadn't realised was raw (as in the raw-food movement, not as in uncooked flour ;) But so tasty!! Too tiny a portion but very pleased to eat...more
You'd never know this was a vegan-vegetarian pub. It seems just like a regular old hearty pub. Tofuish & chips was as amazing as everyone says, and then we were also surprised by a just-as-amazing cashew cheese ravioli dish. Great drinks, food, atmosphere, location.more
Hearty organic vegetarian and vegan food in the middle of Central London in an old traditional pub? Just amazing.
Went for a Sunday lunch, and as all respectable pubs Coach and Horses proposes the Sunday Roast, revisited (basically stuffed vegetables with more vegetables on the side).
But you can count on classic pub hit dishes, as the Tofush and Chips, or The Burger - "a pure giant falafel"...more
Im thinking - vegetarian vegan pub right in the heart of the touristy part of Soho.
Im thinking - this has to be a gimmick.
Im thinking - why am I eating here when there is world changing Chinese food just a few doors away?
Well in fact Coach and Horses is the real deal and is an absolutely superior pub.
Terrific line of beers on draught.
Respectable cider choices.

This was awesome. It's upstairs away from the main pub down below, set up like a tea room.
I had the tofush and chips (it was flipping AWESOME), and we had the starter of beetroot ravioli with cashew cheese (also amazing). The tofu burger was great, and super filling.
I think they could do with adding one or two more vegan mains, but apart from that, perfect.
Definitely want to return ASAP.more
