Loud pub / restaurant looked like they had some amazing pies on offer. It was too bad we'd already had dinner because I was sorely tempted. The usual Steak & Kidney, but also Steak & Mushroom, Highland, and more I can't remember and the picture is too blurry.

Your standard British pub, and a good one at that.

This establishment sits in a very cool stand alone building, smack dab in the middle of a modern street. Looks like the owner was a hold out, while the neighborhood around him was all built up.

The atmosphere was great, exactly what you want in a pub. Service was competent and friendly. Two meals and drinks cost 15 quid. Not bad at all.more
