Overview

In the lovely London neighbourhood of Chiswick residents are used to the very best, which says a lot for The Cabin Steak and Seafood Restaurant, a popular local dining room with a chilled out atmosphere. Independently owned, this is the kind of place folk will come back to over and over again, celebrating landmark birthdays and anniversaries, getting together with friends or doing business. The interior has a buzzing, brasserie feel; the décor simple but chic with striped banquettes and striking colours, the frontage dotted with a handful of al fresco pavement dining seats. Though The Cabin’s menu focuses heavily on steaks and seafood, it’s nonetheless a widely varied selection that the kitchen offers up, with poultry and veggie dishes providing variation, all of it deliciously and simply cooked to offer depth of flavour. A good wine list featuring over sixty worldwide labels as well as a range of cocktails accompanies food. Don’t miss The Cabin’s Sunday roast.

So I've been here before, last time we tried something from the brunch menu, so this time we decided to go for something that would be a little more filling.

We (my family) chose to go for an evening meal for Easter Sunday. I started with the Calamari with Tartar Sauce. Unfortunately, nothing good can be said about this. My plate was practically swimming in oil (hmm, did somebody forget to...more

Like Norma H., this is my favorite restaurant in London!

I always make the trek out to Fulham when I'm in jolly ol' London to visit the Cabin, especially for the happy hour special! I never order steak at restaurants but this is amazing steak!

That being said, I need to plan my next visit soooon!

I miss you Cabin ;(more

Was not enthused by the cocktail I had, sorry I can't remember what it is to tell you. Something strawberry id imagine, but the taste was interesting.

The steak on the other hand was perfectly cooked and full of flavour. I ordered the 8oz and managed the whole thing.

The Creme brulee was good as well. The apple crumble did not taste like a traditional apple crumble and was more like some...more

They do a £12.50 early diner deal if you order before 6.30 Monday to Saturday, that's for a main and either a starter or dessert.

2 of us had sweet and sour ribs as a starter, I had the chowder, one of us had a grilled meat skewer. Then we all had either sea bass or burgers for our mains. We all loved the starters, and the only complaint about the mains was that the sea bass could maybe have...more
