Recently refurbished (apparently) a nice small pub with good food (two burgers for the price of one on Wednesdays).
The aforementioned burgers are super-rare though (luke warm in the middle...) so make sure you ask for medium/well done if you prefer something a bit more, well, cooked.more
Across the road from the Building Centre, this is often visited by people attending meetings or other events there, rubbing shoulders with students and staff from UCL or the College of Law. Comfortably scruffy in terms of its decor, it also has a downstairs function room (with pool table and, I think, a dart board) that can be hired for events.

I used to com here as a student, and being probally the only art student amongst a ton of UCL and Law students, I liked a break from the norm... or maybe I was their break from the norm?

I went to the College Arms one night with a few friends and we had a blast. It's pretty standard as far as pubs go but the crowd is almost all students. Sometimes it's fun to hang out with students, they are so excited about life and just starting to spread their wings. The College Arms, whilst an independent pub, is the hang out for the BPP law school just behind Senate House. It is quite small, although it does have outside seating and goes back quite far. In its décor it is unremarkable; quite similar to a Scream or Wetherspoons.
