C&B Exchange Square

It's become a City tradition for bankers and traders to meet at 'the railway carriage', just a minute away from Liverpool Street station. In winter, it's a cosy, intimate place to meet and chat. In summer, the place goes wild. This bar probably serves more Pimm's per square foot than anywhere else in the UK and bar staff that survive a summer here wear it as a badge of honour for the rest of their career.<br /><br />On the first hot day of summer, hundreds of people flock to the bar for a glass of something cold and refreshing overlooking the croquet lawn. Competition to hit the first mallet of summer is strong and we're strict about the rules of handling balls - both on and off the pitch.<br /><br />
