ive been here a few times through the years - for gigs (which were amazing), for massive fancy dress parties, for club type things...
its great because the space is so freaking huge, if you get bored in one area you can always just walk around and find something else to look at.
the area is a bit dodgy, so be sure you know how youre getting home when you leave.more
Came here for a Halloween ball. The place is huge! Lots of different bars, a few different stages. Could definitely see myself having a good time listening to a favorite band here as well.more
As far as venues go, this place rocks.
First off, I have only been here once, to a fancy private party that had free cocktails, free food, bands etc, so I can't comment on drinks prices, cover charges or anything like that.
The Coronet is an old cinema. There is still a movie theatre part to the club with a screen and seats. There is also a stage and a couple of bars.

I came here a few years ago with a friend for a techno night. The club is an old cinema, and as 'concepts' go it's pretty awesome. There is a dance floor and various rooms. The layout is a little odd as they don't obviously correspond to that of a cinema. Still there is a balcony with seats, that I imagine is unchanged aspect. This was weird, I went in not knowing what to expect, it doesn't look like much from the outside. And inside, again, you walk in - labyrinthine corridors to the toilets, climb a stairwell, a medium sized room with cool kids dancing.
