Crockett & Jones shoes are probably the most British-looking shoes there are on the market.

By now, I have bought at least 10 pairs (I simply cannot stop !), and I could not be more happy with them. Their variety is huge, and quite a few of their shoes come in different widths which is quite handy since I struggled with overly wide shoes quite a bit in the past.

I got my heart broken today.

You see, it all began before Christmas when I dropped off a new pair of brogues to have the heels softened. I explained I was leaving the country that week and was told it would take but a day or two and that I would be notified by phone when my gorgeous shoes were ready.

I purchased a pair from their Handgrade collection during the recent sales, and it's quickly become my favorite pair of shoes. Great quality, beautiful shoes, but not very difficult to break in like some other quality long-lasting shoe brands.

The sales staff are quite knowledgable, but more importantly, easy to talk to and even to joke around with. A pleasant, low-pressure (but serious)...more
