Curry Paradise

Going from strength to strength since its opening back in 1998, Curry Paradise is the preferred Indian restaurant of hungry locals in London’s Brixton. As fresh and as modern as the day it first unlocked its doors, the Curry Paradise dining room is fresh and clean in its black and white colour scheme, complete with Taj Mahal inspired doorways, stripped back wooden flooring and super contemporary grey and gold light fixings. Curry Paradise specialises in absolutely authentic Indian cuisine, providing its guests with a wide range of dishes including the old reliables such as masalas and biryanis as well as chef’s specialties, all attractively presented and cooked using fine ingredients and hand blended spices. The fish selection is particularly strong while vegetarians are equally as catered for as their carnivorous friends. Efficient, polite and welcoming service is a Curry Paradise standard whether you visit for a lengthy romantic dinner or for a quick lunchtime bite with friends.

A hidden gem, and much more reasonably priced than places like Holy Cow. The interiors are smartly done and a great place to enjoy a sit-down meal as well as a take-away. Try the Chicken Rezalla.more

This is a real overlooked gem. I normally go to another curry house in the area which *is* byo and a little bit famous, but this place is a completely solid alternative. If it was in a different neighbourhood, it'd be packed out of the rafters.

Very solid curries, not greasy, super friendly staff (it's almost embarassing - it's like they're super grateful for your business), the decor of a...more

Okay, so I have lived in the area for just shy of two years, you would think that I would have tried this place. Sad but true, I went in for the first time last weekend - for shame!

I don't even know where to begin...

So it's Saturday night, and we've missed "dinner time", but we're both hungry. Didn't fancy ordering in so I suggested we taking a jaunt down to this curry house that I walk...more

I know the manager Zak very well from going there over the past 3 years, him and his staff are rely lovely and always a good laugh there. The restaurant has a nicly stock bar as well and the price range for a meal is about £10...more
