Dhaka Biryani serve a variety of traditional Indian dishes including curry, chicken, lamb and rice dishes. Catering for private parties of up to 30 guests is available upon request. They do not serve drinks, but guests are cordially invited to bring their own alcoholic drinks.
I came here two nights in a row, not only because I stayed in Whitechapel throughout my stay in London, but the fact that shops & restaurants in the east district closed a tad bit too early (try 7pm) for my taste. Dhaka Biryani finds itself in a fierce curry environment. Situated in whitechapel, the place is literally 2 doors down from another biryani place, and a stone's throw from many other asian food restaurants.
I haven't tried them all, but this place stands out. Trusting the name, I ordered a biryani with chicken. It was damn good.

Really good little place. They do say that all the good curry places are actually in Whitechapel rather than Brick Lane and while I wouldn't say that Dhaka was one of the places that those people were talking about, it does the job very well.
