Not my favourite bar, but good for a quiet, after work drink during the week. It's hidden away in a basement and has a range of seating options as well as rooms. While I was there on a Wednesday evening they were hosting a salsa class and a speed dating event in different rooms within the venue.

Avoid avoid avoid!!

This place is awful - loud, sticky floors, smells and quite simply full of drunkards making idiots of themselves. I came here on a Friday night with a friend to try the giant Pornstar Martini and within 5 minutes we were already wanting to leave! I couldn't believe how many people were drunk so early on in the night (6pm).

I actually really enjoyed myself when I went to Amber with work colleagues although I'm not sure how much of that has to do with how drunk I was!

The drinks were great and not extortionately priced either. We were in the disco themed room and the dance floor is fun and the music was cheesy (just the way I like it).

Amber is the place that we go to when we can't decide where else to go. It is always the "safe" choice because the drinks here are decent at reasonable prices. Happy hour prices draw the crowds in and the music/vibe makes them stay.

I had a lot more fun at Amber Bar than I thought I would. That had a lot to do with the incredible half price and/OR 2-4-1 drinks that run from 5p to 8p. Wow. You really can't beat that.
