Great traditional British pub in Soho. Food was excellent and they have some really cool gin cocktails, which was a big plus.more
Blown away by this place. Had a cool, cozy feel and our waitress was very nice. We had the Fish and Chips and Old Spot Sausages. I saw many people with pies so i'm assuming they are good. Also, this place is in the middle of Soho with great bars around.more
Quintessentially British pub - with historic elements. I actually liked the interior but it was super crowded and it is also very small. The service is quick and abrupt, very typical of a pub. I am not sure if I'd come back but if I were looking for a pub in the area I'd probably prefer this one.more
Great place for a traditional fish and chips in soho. The upstairs dining area is warm and cozy. There are a few cask ales and it all feels very British. The mushy peas were the best I've had. Highly recommend!more
I'm a fan of the books 1984 and Animal Farm so how could I not come check out this pub that the man George Orwell used to frequent. It's somewhat a pretty typical bar in London. It's name is "Animal and Other Animal or Random Object," they have beer sponsors, they have a bathroom that's located down a staircase, the bartenders are nice, there are hand pumped beers.
I pretty much came here...more
