Overview

Barbecoa is a celebration of traditional fire-based cooking and incredible ingredients. Founded by Jamie Oliver, it’s much more than a steak restaurant. Our in-house butchers handpick and prepare the very best meat in Britain, then our chefs cook beautiful modern dishes using Texas pit smokers, tandoors, fire pits, robata grills and wood-fired ovens. As you sit at your table overlooking St Paul’s Cathedral, you’ll feel the heat, see the flames lick and the smoke drift upwards from our open kitchen.

Seriously disappointed - especially after some good reviews on here.

Filet steak was not bad for UK

NZ Pinot noir was pleasant

Sea bass in ceviche was delicious

Monkfish was pleasant alternative main as special

Good view of St Paul's if you can get window seat

Bad

The food was simply excellent, but other factors let it down a little. Make no mistake though, this is the best fillet I have ever had.

Took my in laws there to say thanks for helping us move house. I paid and had a shock when the bill came to £240. We all had fillet steak, no starters and a bottle of wine between us.

We found the place busy, noisy and the ambience to be not so nice. There...more

For those of you don't know, this is another part of the Jamie Oliver empire only this time he has teamed up with American BBQ guru Adam Perry Lang.

I'd put this restaurant in the posh BBQ section, and can be very pricey, but in all honesty, it's worth it, the food is ace. You can also peep through the kitchen window to see where the magic happens, the bbq pit/smoker they have is awesome....more

lovely restaurant - we were seated right under the night lights on st paul's cathedral. the food menu was mostly american and the whisky menu had a diverse offering from around the world.

we had the ribs and apple/blue cheese salad for starters then pulled pork (spicy and really well seasoned!) and burger for main. we were stuffed by the time we saw the dessert menu so we passed. the food...more
